Casey House Readies for a Move Into a Modernized Mansion
The health provider will soon offer more treatment space in a building filled with homey comforts
Plants lift people’s spirits, so the new Casey House, an HIV/AIDS care centre, is organized around a lush garden courtyard that’s visible from all 14 patient rooms. Designed by Hariri Pontarini Architects, the complex adds a four-storey glass wing to a Victorian mansion on Jarvis Street. Set to open in 2016, the project replaces the health provider’s existing facility one block east. caseyhouse.ca
