Throughout Toronto Design Week, we awarded the top 100 products (& other cool stuff) we spotted with our custom Designlines Loves tags, specially designed by Sali Tabacchi.

Topher Kong‘s trio of praying mantis-like Vovo side tables are simple but full of personality, and super practical – the bent legs form the perfect resting place for a stack of DL issues.

The Cloudy Chair by Helsinki’s Tatu Laakso was another standout at OCAD U’s student show. We think the curves and under-carriage – in Baltic birch & walnut – are just too beautiful to let any ole tusch cover up.

One of five designers profiled in our spring issue, felt artist Kathryn Walter collaborated with architecture firm superkül on a spectacular waterfall of rippling felt strips.

We dug the mix of rough and refined in Deborah Wang‘s Earth Plugs. The white gypsum cement sculptures resemble geometric peg board pieces cored out of the urban environment.

Sheridan College student Joshua Brolly’s ebonized plywood & maple Lounge Chair has commanding presence, but is in fact quite comfortable. A great addition to any evil genius’s lair. We’d pair it with a cozy fur throw and a mug of hot chocolate.
