Girard Throw

In the mid-’60s, Alexander Girard created this wool-and-cotton blanket for Braniff International Airways to help end the “plain plane” era. Manufactured by Portland’s Pendleton Woolen Mills, the reissue comes courtesy of Herman Miller, where Girard became textile director in 1952. hermanmiller.com
