A destination for sculptural contemporary furniture, vintage collectibles and unique antiques
A refined mix of past and present, Bettencourt Manor is a design studio and home furnishings boutique that specializes in carefully curated homewares with a timeless aesthetic. Founded by designers Matthew and Rick Bettencourt, the Toronto-based shop is a go-to destination for sculptural contemporary furniture, vintage collectibles and one-of-a-kind antiques sourced from around the world.
What began as an online shop in 2018 quickly grew into a physical space in Leslieville, offering an ever-evolving collection of art, lighting, and accent decor. The Bettencourts travel extensively—through Ontario, Quebec, Upstate New York, and beyond—to discover standout pieces, collaborating with artisans and expert upholsterers to restore and reimagine their finds. The result? A richly layered and deeply personal approach to home styling, where every object has a story.
In addition to their Toronto boutique, the brand has expanded its vision with Bettencourt Lodge, a design-forward retreat in Kawartha Lakes, and a new Muskoka outpost, Bettencourt Lake House, where the focus shifts toward relaxed living and contemporary interpretations of Canadiana decor. The boutique is also developing a pantry collection, featuring everything from vintage dishware and apothecary items to skincare essentials.
For city-dwellers and designers seeking bespoke design inspiration, Bettencourt Manor offers private shopping events featuring exclusive collections of antique pottery, textiles, and statement furniture. Their collaborations, such as the San Marco Paint x Bettencourt Manor collection, further solidify their reputation as tastemakers in the design world.
