Tonic Living—founded by Janine and Jon Morrison—started with a stack of vintage fabrics and a sewing machine at a dining table. Today, it’s evolved into a 10,000-square-foot hub where pillows are hand-sewn in-house, drapery fabric is offered by the yard, and creativity is sewn into every corner.

Inside the light-filled studio-shop, you’ll find elegant off-the-shelf pieces: patterned cushions, high-performance upholstery fabrics, linen drapes, and modern yet cozy throws in a palette that leans grounded, earthy, and lived-in. Whether you’re shopping for a single pillow with personality or enough yardage to reupholster a sofa, the staff is always on hand with friendly, expert advice—no design degree required.

The Tonic Living aesthetic is warm, approachable, and grounded in real life. This isn’t museum-style decorating. It’s for homes where things are spilled, feet are up, and comfort is king. Tonic’s in-house line of pillows and textiles is Canadian-made, responsibly produced, and designed to last season after season—even as your style evolves. Bonus: the North York location also serves as the brand’s production HQ, so you can get a peek into the behind-the-scenes magic. The vibe? Part design lab, part pillow playground—with a healthy dash of sass.
