Raw Color’s collaboration with the brand makes a case for the bright and colourful

In collaboration with Dutch designer duo Raw Color, IKEA’s TESAMMANS collection hit store shelves in April—just in time for spring. The limited-edition product line features 18 pieces, including corrugated side tables, conversation-starting lighting, bold rugs and multi-dimensional throw pillows.

For storage enthusiasts, the TESAMMANS wheelable storage unit is where function meets beauty, boasting modular openings and a playful colour palette that combines soft pinks and powerful pops of red.

At the heart of Raw Color’s design practice is a blending of graphic design, photography and product design, all of which come to life in this unique collection. The TESAMMANS collaboration brings a fresh outlook to the use of unique colour combinations and the transformative powers they can have on style, design, and mood. IKEA is increasingly working with creative designers to bring contemporary collections into their stores, enhancing their offerings with innovative and stylish solutions that reflect modern trends and a growing embrace for maximalism.

In mixing gentle and saturated tones, the line fits the bill for those aiming to apply bold character and high functionality into their space. Homewares like napkins, mugs, glasses, carafes and trays allow the style to extend from the living room into the kitchen.
